Melting halloumi with stir tomato & chilli

Heat up a heavy bottomed frying pan with a generous drizzle of olive oil and some butter. Lightly dust the halloumi cheese with flour, shaking off any excess, and place the cheese in the pan.

Crisp up both sides of the cheese for about 2 minutes until beautifully golden. The cheese is ready when the inside is quite soft but still holds its shape. Squeeze over some fresh lemon juice, season with salt and pepper and spread Stir on top. Serve immediately!

  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • A knob of butter (optional)
  • Flour for dusting
  • 60 ml prepared

  • A squeeze of fresh lemon juice

  • NoMU Just Pepper
